My Experience

As a Human Resource Development professional, my work has included consultancy, counselling and staff training for organisations in the public, private, and voluntary sectors.

I am an experienced and skilled counsellor, working in-depth with individuals on personal and interpersonal issues. I operate a person-centred style from a humanistic perspective, and within that am able to use a range of methodologies.

I am also an competent group facilitator, consultant and trainer, able to perceive and respond to group and organisation process. I use experiential learning methods and create environments conducive to learning and growth.

I am accustomed to communicating with staff at all levels, and in a wide range of organisational cultures and situations.

As an accredited Registered Practitioner with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, I work within these organisations' codes of ethics and practice.
